We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2024, at the age of 85, Mary Bender of Columbus, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, David Pomrenke and Philip Bender; her children, Debra Hansen and David W. Pomrenke; her siblings, Thomas Brockman and Betty Puckett; and her son-in-law Bernard Hezik.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Cooper (Stephen) of Ada and Judith Hezik of Scottsville, Kentucky; her son-in-law Robert Hansen of Dodgeville, Wisconsin.; her stepchildren, Todd Bender (Joyce) of Brownsburg, Indiana, Christi Maples (Michael O'Brien) of Dayton, Indiana and David Bender (Lorri) of Bloomington, Indiana.; and her siblings, Shirley Suddeth of Palmetto, Florida, Martha Jansen (James) of Brea, California and Joseph Brockman of Columbus. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
