It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin L. Finke (Columbus, Indiana), who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Finke and Esther E. M. Armuth Finke; his former wife Helen Gommel of Columbus; his sisters, Thelma Breeden (Ken) and Irma Steinhaus (Norman); his grandson Alan Schlehuser; and his son-in-law Steve Doughten.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Finke Scott of Columbus, John M. Finke of Columbus and Cyndy Shupe of Cadillac, Michigan.; his wife Pauline; his stepchildren, Terry Schlehuser (Ruth) and Deena Stoner (Jon); and his grandchildren, Betsy Place (Michael), Nick Stoner and Katie Stoner of Columbus.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Helen Finke Children's Collection of Hope Branch of Bartholomew County Library.
