As we bid Marie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Yium and Chew Yook Gum; and her brothers, Johnson and Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Larry; her son Chris (Shasta); her grandson Dagim of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her brother Jackson (Milli) of Chatanooga. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, mourners might make a donation to either the The Patachou Foundation, an Indianapolis group which does so much to provide meals for children, or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, which provided care for Marie during her final weeks.
