With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille J. Nierman Wessel (Columbus, Indiana), who passed away on October 17, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred VonFange and Clara Welmer VonFange; her former husband Joseph D. Nierman; her husband Norris Gene Wessel; her stepson Danny Wessel; and her sisters, Mabel Tormoehlen (Harold) and Kathryn Nierman (John).
She is survived by: her former husband Joe Nierman; her son Tim Nierman (Margy) of Columbus; her grandson Joe Nierman (Sarah) of Indianapolis; her great grandchild Alice Margaret Nierman; her stepchildren, Gary Gene Wessel (Rhonda) of Seymour and Linda Hallow (Tom) of Brownstown; her stepdaughter-in-law Jana Wessel of Brownstown; her nieces, Jane Schepman (Randy) of Seymour and Mary Ann Hamilton (George) of Zeeland; and her nephew Jeffrey Nierman (Jane) of Seymour.
Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church Stained-glass Window Fund, or Schneck Medical Center Foundation.
