She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Giles and Nancy Clyde May Giles; her husband Harold Gilliland; her son Gregg Lyle; and her brother Elvin Giles.

She is survived by: her children, Gail Wilson (Rick) of Hope, Karen Love (Larry) of Columbus, Carla Emmitt (Rick) of Hope, Nancy Berkenstock of Hartsville, Joyce Garrison (Steve) of Columbus, Donald Gilliland (Kim) of Columbus and Lisa Garrison (Tony) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Greg Roberts (Alisha), Shana Brooks (Billy), Chad Emmitt (Stephanie), Bryan Love (Casey Singer), Shannon Love, Jeremy Emmitt (Angie), Brent Berkenstock, Ryan Berkenstock, Josh Bean, Jeremy Gilliland, Eric, Dustin Allman, Michael, Kacie, Matthew Garrison and Keri Foster; her great grandchildren, Tyla, Titus, Cameryn, Holten, Shaylee, Baylee, Mcaylee, Jayce and Bryn; and her brother Carl Giles (Marilyn) of Abilene, TX. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
