Hamlin (Columbus, Indiana), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 79, on August 25, 2019. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Joseph Hamlin, Jr. of Boston. She is survived by: her brother Jerome Scott of Jamestown; and her granddaughters, Amy Rastatter (Daniel) of Pittsburgh, Elizabeth Hamlin (Jon Barnitt) of Bloomington and Mary Hamlin of Columbus. She is also survived by her daughters, sons-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, and in accordance with Lee's wishes, the family asks that donations be made to Planned Parenthood or First Presbyterian Church of Columbus.

“I have been blessed to have known Lee since I started working in Columbus, Indiana in 1996. For ten years, Lee worked closely with our agency, the Department of Child Services. Lee had a knack for connecting with some of our most challenging clients. She had a healing touch. I will always remember attending Lee's first retirement party 10+ years ago. She missed touching peoples' lives too much to stay retired. Her first retirement lasted maybe six months before she got back into changing lives.”
