Larry Wayne East Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Wayne East of Columbus, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable East and Joe East; his wife Geraldine East; his daughter Billie Parker Davidson; and his siblings, Patricia East, Linda Jones and Barry East.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Kiel (Chris), Bobbie Mullins (Rick), Christopher Parker, Gregory Parker (Jennifer), John Parker and Gordon Parker; and his siblings, Judy Stall, Kim Cox, Terry East and Jerry Lamb. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rittman Family Funeral Home (3855 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Garland Brook Cemetery (501 N Gladstone Ave, Columbus, IN 47201).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Larry's honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Foundation, causes close to his heart.
