He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin P. McCord and Olive Collins McCord; his sisters, Patricia McCord and Bonnie Brooks; and his grandson Ben Stratford.
He is survived by: his wife Carol McCord; his sons, Matthew P. McCord (Liz) of Louisville, KY, Aaron Bruce McCord (Stacy) of Columbus, IN and Jason Andrew McCord (Christina) of Columbus, IN; his sisters, Barbara Schrougham of Columbus, IN, Rosemary Hedger of West Virginia and Sharon Schurman (Glen) of Columbus, IN; his grandchildren, Kylee Urquidi (David), Josh McCord (Courtney), Hannah McCord (Jack Wilkerson), Collin McCord (Sarah), Sarah McCord (Avinash), Victoria Yeaton (Kendall), Makenna McCord and Charlotte Stratford; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Kaleb, Laikyn, Julian, Jude, Ezra, Malachi Yeaton and Henry Paul McCord.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ogilville Christian Church (7891 W 450 S, Columbus, IN 47201).
