He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis O. Cox and Florene "Faye" O'Neal Cox; and his wife Terrie C. Wiley. He is survived by: his children, Patrick M. Cox (Michelle), John C. Cox (Charlotte) and Carrie D. Thompson (Chris); his sister Shirley Robertson (John) of Hope; his grandchildren, Jordan Cox, Delaney Thompson, Luke Thompson, Kendall Thompson, Brooke McClintic, Keegan Ellaby and Dorothy Forrester; and his great grandchildren, Kadence, Ashlyn and Riven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
