He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Carl and Lynn Ann Jonas Kappel, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Patty Jo Brockman; his daughter Ashley Kappel; his grandchildren, Emily Lewis of Columbus and Tayler Clark of Columbus; and his siblings, Archie Kappel (Pam) of Terre Haute, Karen Hensley (Dave) of Midlothian, Virginia, Kathy Waterman of California, Kristy Schmitt (Dave) of Ft. Wayne, Kevin Kappel (Lisa) of Louisville, Keith Kappel (Brenda) of Sanford and Kasey Musto of Cedar City, Utah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
