He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Cody and Dorothy I Chafin Cody. He is survived by: his children, Marlana Hitchings (Eddie) of Indianapolis, Steven Cody (Ashley) of Lusby, MD, Joseph Cody of Columbus, Adam Cody of Columbus and Aaron Cody of Columbus; and his sister Betty Whitis of Columbus. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; one great-grandson.
