With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Edward Bode of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester L. Bode and Edna M. Bode (Burbrink); and his former wife Bernice L. Schroer. He is survived by: his spouse Kyra M. Carothers (Seegers); his children, Kathy Kahlenbeck (Jim) of Columbus, Max Bode (Robin) of Columbus, Michelle Barnett (Brett) of Columbus and Melissa Hatton (Mike) of Columbus; his stepchildren, Kevin Carothers (Cheryl) of Fishers, Matthew Carothers (Cheryl) of Columbus and Becky Luenebrink (Tony) of Columbus; and his brother Keith Bode (Rose) of Columbus. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
