He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Spath and Sarah Butler Spath; and his wife Virginia L. Romine. He is survived by: his close friend Marylou Barkes of Columbus; and his siblings-in-law, Louella Twichell (Gary) of Gaylord and Marshall Romine.
