Karen Sue Schlehuser Obituary

We bid farewell to Karen Sue Schlehuser of Columbus, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 7, 2025 at the age of 84. Karen Sue touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Foster and Margaret Foster (Peters); and her husband Harry James Schlehuser. She is survived by: her children, Bradley James Schlehuser (Julie) of Columbus and Lori Elizabeth Hill (Jason) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Zachary James Smith (Rachel), Elizabeth Marie Patrick (Eddie), Kade Joseph Hill, Madison Claire Schlehuser (Jake Branum), Adam Robert Schlehuser, Taylor Lee Schlehuser and Carsyn Blair Schlehuser; her great grandchildren, Reagan Smith, Wyatt Smith and Jade Elizabeth Branum; and her brothers, Roger Foster (Betty), Bill Foster (Susie) and Gary Foster (Cathy).

Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (16270 S County Rd 300 W, Seymour, IN 47201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, White Creek, or White Creek Lutheran School.
