It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Elkins (Columbus, Indiana), who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Miller and Hattie Miller; her husband Joseph W. Elkins; her siblings, Maleda Gibson, Victor, Otis and Eddie Miller; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Miller and Lloyd Gibson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Elkins (Debbie) of Columbus and Jeffrey Elkins (Angela) of Columbus; her siblings, Lawrence Miller of Columbus, Wallace Miller (Brenda) of Elizabethtown, IN and Earnestine Havron (Ron) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Justin Elkins (Leanne) of Columbus, Ashley Lopez of Columbus, Jordan Elkins (Heather) of Columbus and Ondrea' Ulerich (Craig) of Columbus; her great grandchildren, Javy Lopez, Aiden Elkins, Alex Lopez, Jasper Elkins, Jarvis Elkins and Isiah Ulerich; and her niece Joyce Ann Fields of North Carolina. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Association.
