She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Smith and Ruth Smith (Nadler); her husband Vernon "Duke" A. Baynum, Sr.; her son Donald Baynum; and her brothers, James and Gerald Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hladik (John), Vernon Baynum, Jr. (Beverly), Richard Baynum and Chris Baynum (Mary); her brother Daniel Smith (Vicky); her grandchildren, Andrew Baynum (Jaime), Matthew Baynum (Rachel), Nathan Baynum, Zachary Baynum (Elise), Bryan Hladik (Jenna), Michael Hladik (Haley) and Lindsay Hooker (Dakota); and her great grandchildren, Guinevere Baynum, Thomas Baynum, Mary Lou Hladik, Annabelle Hladik and Maren Baynum.
