Josephine S. Harter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine S. Harter of Columbus, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Josephine S. departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Josephine S. may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Josephine S. leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother George E.; her husband William J. Harter; and her children, Marjorie Pumphrey (Brett) of Littleton, Scott Harter (Amy) of Eugene, Jim Harter (Cathy) of Bon Aqua, Doug Harter (Brooke) of McCordsville and Robert Harter (Leah) of Park City, Utah.. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
