She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Caraway and Marie Daugherty Caraway; her husband William Leo "Bill" Connell; her son Gary Connell; and her son-in-law Tom Furnish.
She is survived by: her children, Suzan Connell of Lincoln, Julie Furnish of Columbus and Mark Connell (Christy) of Augusta; and her grandchildren, Rachel, Corey, Ashlee, Logan, Erin, Chelsea, Jacob and Matthew. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or their local hospice center.
