She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth Johnson and Elsie Short Johnson; her siblings, Wayne, Earl, Robert Johnson and Wanda Claire Johnson; and her stepgrandson Dennis Smith.
She is survived by: her husband John "Ron" Smith of Columbus; her children, Jeff Belding of North Vernon and Paula Pratt (Ed) of Auburndale, FL; her stepchildren, Jay R. Smith (Dodie) of Columbus, Robin Thomas (Sametola) of Newnan, GA and Susan Peters (Philip) of Clarksville, TN; her siblings, Jerry Johnson of West Lafayette and Mary Jo Craigmyle; and her grandchildren, Susan, Paul, Haley Belding, Craig, Erin Banks, Austin Smith, Cassidy Duell (Adam), Christopher, Matthew and Jonathan Peters (Kayla). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
