He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Schlotter and Anna Margaret Schlotter (Copple); his son Patrick Lee Schlotter; his son-in-law Dan Payton; and his sister-in-law Ellen Schlotter.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Schlotter (White) of Columbus; his children, Rebecca Payton of Columbus, Karen Stumpf (James) of Whiteland and Todd Schlotter (Mikayla) of Versailles; his brother Kenneth Schlotter of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Zoe Peters of Kansas City, MO, Matthew Stumpf of Indianapolis and Abigail Stumpf of Cincinnati.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers-Reed Chapel (3729 E 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church (1306 27th St, Columbus, IN 47201).
