We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 80, Jerry Bob McIntyre of Columbus, Indiana, born in Shelby, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral E. McIntyre and Lelia M. McIntyre (Goins); and his siblings, Warren McIntyre, Kenneth McIntyre, Michael McIntyre, Jean Conway, Marilyn McAhren and Rosemary Colvin.
He is survived by: his children, James O. McIntyre (Shannon) of Greensburg, Jerome R. McIntyre of Greensburg, Shelly McIntyre of Columbus and Laci Lawson (Kris) of Columbus; his siblings, Norman Richard McIntyre (Slonage) of Virginia, Larry McIntyre (Vicky) of Orlando, Harold McIntyre of Columbus, Rita Simmons of Greensburg, Sharon Brown of Greensburg and Brenda Dwenger (Edward) of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Iris Marie, Skylyn, Derik, Stephanie and Allie; and his great grandchildren, Lillian and Sophia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
