He is survived by: his father Junior Van Burton of North Vernon; his wife Misty Dawn Burton (Bay); his children, Tyler Thomas (Julie Barnhart) of Columbus, Justin Burton (Maddy) of Franklin and Ashton Thomas (Jeffrey Richards) of Madison; his siblings, Jennifer Meier (Jeremy Brody) of North Vernon, Melissa Swanson (Chris) of Tunnel Hill, Maranda Eldridge of Tunnel Hill, Jamie Casto (Eric) of Franklin, Rodney Carroll (Kim) of Tunnel Hill, Scott Carroll of Ellijay and Joe Carroll of Ellijay, Georgia; his brothers-in-law, Michael, Patrick Bay and Napoleon Jackson; his grandchildren, Lila Lynn Marie Richards and Jensen Van Burton; his uncle Paul Meier; his aunt Louise Dixon; his father-in-law Floyd Bay; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Renee Torres, Johnathon Meier, Nicholas Meier, Breanna Bennett, Autumn Eldridge, Amber Brock, Christian Fowler, Bubba Brock and Brayden Eldridge. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
