He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Patrick and Della Mae Sorenson Walsh; and his son Marty Walsh. He is survived by: his wife Mabel; his son Kevin D. Walsh of Russell Springs, Kentucky; and his siblings, Ron Walsh (Alma), Bob Walsh (Nancy), Daniel Walsh (Dottie), David Walsh, Marty Walsh (Barb) and Susan Bapst (Gary). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
