It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ilona Laree Ouwerkerk (Columbus, Indiana), born in Rigby, Idaho, who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Rien. She is survived by: her brothers, Terrall Hanson (Jeanette) of Ammon, Norman Hanson (Rea) of Pocatello and Gaylon Hanson (Clarene) of Rigby, Idaho; her daughter Carissa Nelson (Daniel) of Columbus; and her great grandchildren, Nikolai, Melanie, Temperance and Reece. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Humanitarian Aid.
