With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman J. Echsner M. D. Jr. (Columbus, Indiana), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 11, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Karen Echsner Kemp and Chris Gregory Echsner; his parents, Herman J. Echsner, Sr. and Bertha Herre Echsner; and his siblings, Richard, Quentin, Norbert (Doc), Dorothy Curran, Thelma Sykes Sherman and Patricia Beisler.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Blair Lechleiter Echsner; his children, Mary Echsner Moore, Stephen Echsner (Rebecca), Julie Echsner Gahimer and Amy Echsner Shaper; his grandchildren, Bree, Sam, Amy, Alex, Herre, Brendon, Erin, Lauren, Alexandra, Tori and Hannah; and his sister Joan Marie Echsner. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
