It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold N. Scott of Columbus, Indiana, born in Shelby, Indiana, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Scott and Bernice McClure Scott; his wife Mary Jean Newsom; and his siblings, Helen Winkler, Loren Scott, Maurice "Bud" Scott, Doris Scott, Margaret Malson and Jack Scott.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Thomas (Michael) of Columbus, Gayle Mercer (Rob) of Indianapolis and Marcia Nance of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher, Kevin, Jennifer, Natalie, Kristin, Dustin, Adam and Matthew. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
