It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Lynette Jones (Columbus, Indiana), born in Edinburgh, Indiana, who passed away on June 27, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chet Brown and Deloris B. Cornelius Brown; and her granddaughter Katie Collman. She is survived by: her daughters, Tamara Jones-Kathryn Ball of Ft. Myers, Valerie Bloom of Columbus and Angela Neace of Seymour; her sisters, Sue Endicott of Columbus, Ruth Stropparo of Naples and Jennifer Harris of Crothersville; her aunt Ruby Smith of Waldron; and her grandchildren, Brittany Wright (J. T.) of Fishers, Jessica Murphy (Ryan) of Crothersville, Leigha Klakamp (Daniel Charles) of Seymour and Alex Bloom of Columbus. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Columbus Regional Hospital Cancer Center through the funeral home.
