With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Mark Klingler (Columbus, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carabelle Allen and Wright Klingler. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Klingler (Wilson); his brothers, Harold Klingler and Bill Klingler; his children, Lori Chittendon (Geno Chittendon) of Southport, Catherine Klingler (Paul) of Columbus, Michelle Nelson of Winamac, Tonya Schneider of Reno, Nev, Krista Spencer of Phenix City, Ala., Daniel Klingler (Jay Langhurst) of Dallas, Tex, Bryan Klingler (Cherie) of Columbus and Edward Hendershot (Lauri Ray) of Hope; his grandchildren, Dallas Klingler, Ashlee Maze (Joseph), Michael Chittendon, Brooke, Derrik Waltz and Cassie Schneider; and his great grandchildren, Izzy, Abigail and Jude Maze.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church (1306 27th St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
