He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Caffee and Essie Stephens Caffee; his grandson Levi Cates; and his brother Orbin Caffee. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Greathouse-Caffee; his children, Cierra Caffee of Columbus, IN, Sandi Vanneste (Michael) of Palm Bay, Deanne Cooper (Anthony) of Memphis, TN and Suzanne Glenn (Doug) of Erie, PN; his siblings, Gail Lawles (Jim) of Columbus, IN and Brian Caffee of Columbus, IN; his grandchildren, Lauren Ryan (Jacob), Trent Cates, Tristen Cates, Chad Cooper, Natalie Cooper, Vanessa Glenn and Dan Glenn; his great great grandchildren, Louie Cates and Thomas Cates; and his sister-in-law Zerlina Caffee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rittman Family Funeral Home (3855 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association through the funeral home.
