He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Raymond and Mary Ellen Gates (Hargett); his daughters, Amanda Gates (Andy) and Angela Lancaster (David); his siblings, Donald Gates (Lorraine), Rick Gates, Gordon Skinner (Alice), Rebecca Floyd (Carlyle) of North Vernon, Patti (Leo) and Keitz of Anchorage, AK.; and his sons, James of Batesville, IN, Ricky (BJ) of Burnet, TX, Kenny of Dayton, TX and Stephen of Fresno, TX. He was also cherished by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
