He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Floyd and Lola Mae White Cornelius; his brother Oliver Jackie Cornelius; his stepfather Robert Don; and his grandfather Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Cornelius (Lori) of Columbus, Crystal Galbraith (Mark) of Columbus and Joy Woodcock (Steve) of Columbus; and his great grandchild Glenda Compton of Columbus. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
