He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer John Carl Whipker Sr. and Goldie Beryl Talley Whipker; and his siblings, Herschel, Halford, Perry Don, Paul, David, Bennie Whipker, Elizabeth McKinney and Margaret Volland.
He is survived by: his children, Troy J. Whipker of Columbus, Katrina Brumley (Brian) of Columbus and Tricia L. Ritz (Kenny) of North Vernon; his brothers, Alan Whipker (Karen) of Columbus and Harry Whipker of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Steven Ritz (Patricia), Sierra Ritz (Evan Chaille), Summer Ritz, Kyler Brumley (Lakan), Halie Brumley, Alexa, Corbin Whipker and Mackenzie Eppley.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, Southwest Fire Department or Feathered Friends Poultry Club in honor of Elmer.
