Elizabeth H. Monette Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2024, at the age of 81, Elizabeth H. Monette of Columbus, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Elizabeth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elizabeth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis A. Turfler and Marion Phillips Turfler; and her siblings, Jane Turfler and Robert Turfler. She is survived by: her husband William; her children, Allen Monette (Sarah) of Madison, Wisconsin and Ruth Monette (Melissa) of Vancouver; and her sisters, Anna Bowers of Mishawaka, Alice Anderson of Mishawaka and Katherine Marschall (Michael) of Granger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or Columbus Regional Health Cancer Center.
