She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert V. Kelley and Evelyn I. Edwards Kelley; her husband James Q. Mead; her daughters, Wendy Fish (Joe), Star Mead and Nada King; and her grandchildren, Courtney King, Shelby Mead and James Steven King.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Mead (Kim) of Columbus, Ed Mead (Gwenda) of Columbus, Richard Mead (Donnetta) of Columbus and Jimmie G. Mead of North Carolina; her sister Connie Wininger (Rick) of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Eddie King (Mickey) of Columbus, Samson Mead of Columbus, Edward Mead (Rhegan) of Columbus, Joseph Mead of North Carolina, Dystiny Green of Columbus, Thea Glick (Coleman) of Columbus, Shilo Mead of Columbus, Loralee Mead of Columbus, Jennifer Mead of Columbus, Kendyll Robbins of Columbus, Chris Mozingo (Austin) of South Carolina and Christine Mead of North Carolina. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
