He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Wilkerson and Doris Arthur Wilkerson; his former wife Melba Mace Bonsett; his wife Margaret Wilkerson; and his stepson John Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Stevens (Jerry "Chuck") of Columbus and Tony Wilkerson (Connie) of Wildomar, California; his stepdaughters, Carolyn Priest of Columbus and Cathy O'Sullivan of Florida; his grandchildren, Carrie Stevens of Taylorsville, Jim Stevens (Alisa) of Hollywood, Matt Wilkerson of Mission Viejo, Lorie Maschino of North Vernon and Angie Tyre of Florida; his great grandchildren, Erika Hardman, Ethan Stevens, Kevin Morris, Lance Maschino and Dylan Tyre; and his great great grandchildren, Brylynn, Weston and Waylon Dora.
