She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Sturgeon and Rachel Sturgeon; her siblings, Charles, Jimmy, Cecil and Mary Bay; and her husband Garnet Walker.
She is survived by: her sister Lois Stephens (John) of Bloomington; her former husband James Ruble; her children, Larry Ruble (Connie) of Edinburgh and Pamela Ruble Guthrie of Franklin; and her grandchildren, James Craig Ruble (Cara) of Greenwood, John Clayton Ruble (Tiffany) of Madison, Joseph Cory Ruble (Candace) of Columbus, Tricia Day of Lexington, KY and Danielle Alfred of Indianapolis. She is also survived by her ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the East Columbus United Methodist church or the cause of the donor's choice.
