She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin McKinney Sr. and Bertha Hazel Lind McKinney; her brothers, Lawrence and James McKinney; and her granddaughter Mary Teresa Schoettmer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy L. Rea of Columbus, Karen J. Patrick of Bedford and Kimberley S. Schoettmer (Mark) of Columbus; her brother George L. McKinney of Columbus; her nieces, Vicki Huckaby (Mark) of Columbus, Deb Risinger of Columbus and Susan Wilcox (Eric) of Jeffersonville; and her grandchildren, Daniel Rea (Cindy), Andrew Rea, Melissa Cross (Bryan), Rebecca Bevis (David), Gabriel Schoettmer (Leslie), Jessica Curd (Nick), Jacob Schoettmer (Heather) and Elizabeth Shafer (Isaac). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Autism Society in memory of Jean.
