She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Scott Setser and Inez E. Mengler Setser; her spouse Wendel E. Shireman; her daughter-in-law Terrilyn Yeley Shireman; her granddaughters, Angela Shireman and Stacy Shireman Stater; her sister Shirley Alvis; and her nephew Jeff Alvis.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Shireman of Columbus, Michael Shireman (Brenda) of Columbus and John Shireman (Joyce) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Matt Shireman (Cheryl), Susan Armstrong (Zach), Scott Shireman (Jeny), Jennifer Kittle (Jeremy) and Glen Shireman (Heather); her great grandchildren, Clayton Shireman, John Armstrong, Charles Shireman, Emily Shireman and Adam Shireman; her great great grandchild Rylynn Shireman; and her niece Debbie Finke.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church in memory of Dorothy.
