Doris Ann Schlichte Obituary

The memory of Doris Ann Schlichte of Columbus, Indiana, born in Rushville, Indiana, who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Larue "Jim" Hinchman and Charlotte Flodder Hinchman; her husband EJ Schlichte; her son Mark; and her brother Norman.

She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Best (William) of Surprise, James Schlichte (Debra) of Vincennes and Sue Willey (Herschel) of Columbus, Indiana; her daughter-in-law Patti Schlichte of Peoria, Illinois; her grandchildren, Brian, Lorri, Eric, Arien and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Ashlan, Jonathan, Hunter, Pryscilla, Paula, Sofia, Dylan and Sloane; and her great great grandchild Ollin.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Gabriel Catholic Church (232 W 9th St, Connersville, IN 47331). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
