She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Hinds and Margaret Mills Hinds; her spouse Oakel A. Hardy U. S. Army; her daughter Deborah Ward; and her siblings, Stanley Hinds and Annette Hinds.

She is survived by: her sons, Oakel Jr. Hardy (Christine) of Columbus, David Hardy (Patty) of Cross Hill and Michael Hardy of Columbus; her grandchildren, Tron Hardy (Sheila), Amanda Lewis (Jason), Douglas Smith, Cindy Foreman (Don), Jill Merrell, Jeremy Hardy, Wendy Hardy (Jes), Shelly Brosemer, Jerad Hardy, Tabitha Hardy and Dustin Hardy; and her siblings, Pearl M. Wright of Comrie Scotland, Jeanne M. Hinds of Liverpool, Joan Trilling of Columbus, David Hinds of Liverpool and Brenda J. Palin of Liverpool, England.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
