He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas G. McClintic and Dona E. White McClintic; his wife Helen Theresa Voeller McClintic; and his siblings, Charles, Noel McClintic, Louise Long, Janice Griggs and Jean Walker.

He is survived by: his children, Gayle Wooden (Jack) of Columbus, Kimberly Castillo (Brennon) of Florida, Ramona Moore (Scott Kelsay) of Columbus and Donald L. McClintic Jr. of Greendale; and his sister Barbara Dycus (Ron) of Florida. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
