He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nelson Stinger and Martha Lane Hanna Stinger; his stepfather Alfred Brown; and his son-in-law Dave Humphrey. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Carlin Stinger of Columbus, Indiana; his children, Neil Stinger (Crystal Richardson) of Connersville, Billy Richard Case of Indianapolis, Jamie Vaughn (Kent) of Connersville, Tammy Rigney (Michael) of Pasco and Tresa Humphrey of Columbus, Indiana; his brother Brent Stinger (Annette) of Brookville, Indiana; and his pet Sophie. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
