He is survived by: his mother Delores Burks-Bey of Hope; his wife Teodora Garcia of Columbus; his children, Arnold Palacios (Emillee Howard) of Franklin, Lidia Palacios (Ben Woodcock) of Chicago and Inri Palacios of Franklin; his grandson Mateo Hinojosa; his siblings, Rebekah Johnson-Bey of Hope and Joseph Johnson of Vallonia, IN; his stepsister Ingrid Jackson (Burt) of Virginia; and his nieces, Iesha Johnson of Miami, FL and Jasmin Johnson of Bloomington. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
