She was predeceased by: her mother Wilma Joyce Hanner Sovern; and her stepson Adam Barlow. She is survived by: her daughter Lindsey Sovern; her stepdaughter Jessica Schapson; her father Dale Sovern; her siblings, Anita Barker and Mark Sovern; and her nephew Tyler Barker of Columbus. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
