We bid farewell to Charlotte W. Helt of Columbus, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 4, 2024 at the age of 81. Charlotte touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. King and Della Mae Bowman King; her husband Roger Wayne Helt; her brothers, Chuck King and Dale; and her sister-in-law Sue King.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Helt of Brownstown and Debra Helt of Austin; her grandchildren, Shawn Helt (Jeannette) of Austin, Madison Helt of Columbus, Nathan Rucker of Austin, Adam Rucker of Austin and Jacob Rucker of New Albany; her great grandchildren, Makayla Helt, Zachary Helt, Avan Helt, Greyson Helt, Kai Helt and Forrest Rucker; her brother Raymond King (Betty) of Columbus; and her sister-in-law Ruth King of Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
