He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Thorne Sr. and Juanita Dilk Thorne Lee; his brothers, Bob and Larry Wiltsey; his granddaughter Kristen Borup; and his great grandchild Asuna Duncan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Ann Thompson (James) of North Vernon and Donna Brodie (Jason) of Phoenix, AZ; his brothers, Richard Wiltsey of Columbus and Gary Thorne of Washington State; and his grandchildren, Heather Claycamp (Brandon Duncan), Joshua England (Melissa), Shawn Claycamp, David England, Andrew Claycamp, Savannah Claycamp and James Borup (Aleshia). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
