In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carol Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Carol Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Helsel and Hazel Helsel (Reichow); her cousin Mary; her daughters, Michelle Wager (Nathan) of Columbus and Melissa Beeker of Brownsburg; her grandchildren, Caitlin and Zachary Wager; and also, Harry and Herb Helsel of Jacksonville, Florida..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rittman Family Funeral Home (3855 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church and Love Chapel in Columbus.
