He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hermit and Helen Phillips Jenkins; his great grandchild Warren Idlewine Key; and his sister Imogene Jenkins. He is survived by: his significant other Wanda Lee Bowman; his children, Tony Russell Jenkins (Julie) of Columbus and Sherry Jenkins Idlewine of Columbus; his grandchildren, Mindy Coppinger, Brittany Jenkins, Derrick Jenkins, Hailey Idlewine, Jessica Kunce and Jordan Kunce; his great grandchildren, Amberli, Hunter, Mya, Dixie, Grady, Maddie, Jackson, June and Waylon; and his siblings, Dean Long of Hermitage, Roy, Kenneth, Gerald, Jack, Marcus Jenkins and Loucille Kaerchier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rittman Family Funeral Home (3855 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
