He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Parker Newsom, Sr. and Mildred M. Foust Newsom; and his grandson Parker J. Schroll. He is survived by: his wife Martha A. Newsom of Columbus; his children, Lenna M. Schroll (Jeffrey) of Crawfordsville, IN and John Parker Newsom (Stacey) of Plymouth, IN; his brothers, W. T. Newsom of Demotte, IN and J. Randall Newsom (Ann) of Lebanon, IN; and his grandsons, Clinton N. Schroll and Benjamin W. Newsom.
