Benjamin Broughton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Benjamin Broughton (Columbus, Indiana). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil Broughton and Clara Broughton; his wife Carolyn; his children, Betty Finke (Jan) and Lonnie Broughton of Columbus; his grandchildren, Jennifer Benton (Richard) of Greenwood, Joshua Broughton of Edinburgh, Michelle Finke of Indianapolis, Amy Finke of Columbus, OH and Jacob Broughton (Kelly) of Columbus; his great grandchild Emmalynn Benton of Greenwood; and his siblings, Helen Petry (CJ), Kenneth Broughton, Noah Broughton (Barb), Charles Broughton (Betty), Bob Broughton (Marie), Lowell Broughton and Bill Broughton (Joyce Broughton). He was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.

Due to the pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Flatrock Baptist Cemetery with his brother Rev. Noah Broughton officiating and the Rev. Jeff Jones will assist.

In lieu of flower, donations may be made to Heritage Baptist Church building fund.
